New kinds of code, new articles and everything that has noticeably improved. The newest entry is at the top.

  1. A guide, and pages of their own for link and location

    Five new articles: how big a QR code needs to be, with a calculator; what is behind dynamic codes; how to spot fake codes; what helps when a code is not recognised; and which error correction suits what. On top of that, link and location codes now have pages of their own, and a new page tells you who is behind qrmacher.de.

  2. Pages of their own for Wi-Fi and business cards

    Wi-Fi and vCard codes now have a page of their own with instructions, examples and the most common questions. On the bank transfer page, a short video shows that the code is created even without an internet connection.

  3. Ninth kind of code: bank transfer

    QR codes for bank transfers, known as GiroCode or EPC QR code. The banking app takes over payee, IBAN, amount and payment reference. The generator checks the IBAN as you type, without sending it anywhere.

  4. Accessibility improved

    After a check with barrierefreiheit-check.eu, skip links that led nowhere on subpages have been fixed, as has a page that spilled over the side on narrow screens. The accessibility statement now only lists what is backed by evidence.

    Eight kinds of QR code: link, contact card, address, Wi-Fi, email, phone, SMS and text. Generated in the browser, downloadable as PNG and SVG, in German and English.
